Plush Plaza Founder | Rahul Jagtiani

I launched Plush Plaza in 2010, a few years after graduating from Virginia Tech, with a simple but ambitious idea — to bring premium, thoughtfully designed travel accessories from India to the world. What began as a boutique gifting venture has grown into partnerships with over 70 leading companies across India and overseas.

But building Plush Plaza also unlocked something else in me — a need to travel, observe, and tell stories. That led to Plush Places, a travel series that grew from a phone camera experiment into a global show streamed on international airlines and OTT platforms.

Along the way, I contributed to leading publications such as Forbes, Fortune, and Travel + Leisure, and collaborated with some of the most exciting brands and destinations in the world.

Every one of those journeys came back into the products. The raw materials and designs I encountered, the way people think and carry themselves across cultures, the difference between a product that looks good in a store and one that actually survives a trip – all of it is in the collection, and often tested for durability and functionality by me personally during my travels.

Today, a bit more experienced but curious as ever, I host The Plush Podcast — conversations I enjoy at the intersection of travel, business, culture, and global ideas. The brand, the show, and the podcast are all part of the same story.
